The coach has some explaining to do (edit: if they lose this Lotus map), they literally lost every map where they don't play meta comps and swap Syouta out of Duelist. Like this is genuinely (could be) bad coaching if you swap the roles of your by far best player for a lan playoffs in the last available moment.

In a bit of hindsight I understand that their win rate just wasn't high on Lotus, so they try just different comps to put off Sengoku. I am confused by the choice of swapping roles must feel super weird for your players even if they are capable of flexing.

It affects it to some degree, but also imo I think TENNN's weaknesses always were his decision making and util usage instead of his mechanics. The dude could always aim well, he just looks lost and out of place from time to time

posted 4 months ago

Tbh I don't really think it matters if he he doesn't play well. Syouta and the others will carry him to the finals and Sengoku is just the worse team anyways. Fennel vs Riddle will be more competitive.

posted 4 months ago

It is to be expected, he is by far their worst player and makes too many mistakes in important matches. I just will never understood why he is so highly rated by the Japanese orgs, there is way better talent out there in their region that they could have chosen to replace Derialy.

posted 4 months ago

Historical revision just because of a bad performance in LCQ. He averaged like 1.13 rating and a 256acs Split in tier2 and never looked insanely bad before in tier1 also Russ was coming off from of the worst performances ever in an international. The problem was more of them wanting to have Twisten instead and Riot not allowing it last minute and them having zero practice together because of it.

posted 6 months ago

Yeah it looks very disjointed, it reminds me a lot from when Guild tried to replace Russ with a on paper way better player and looked so much worse off afterwards.

posted 6 months ago

What I don't get is that Fennel started playing some weird ass comps after TENNN joined, the players partly look uncomfortable and don't seem to understand their own gameplans.

posted 6 months ago

At this point get Derialy back and play the old comps, they look so much worse than what used to be. Also very well played by Murash their coaching staff is cooking some nice stuff

posted 6 months ago

Fennel did literally one roster change with TENNN and they look so much worse compared to Split1, how is that possible???

posted 6 months ago

This Sakurai dude looks like he is matchfixing, dude is not using his smokes at all on defense and going for solo peeks

posted 6 months ago

Sick first map, tons of clutches, crazy setplay and insane comp by Murash that had a surprising amount of legs to it

posted 6 months ago

I kinda wished they used Aace as their main duelist, he is doing well on the flex but just like Syouta he could probably have more impact on a duelist role instead.

posted 6 months ago

It comes down to inexperience, Caedye is really feeling the jitters in his first broadcasted game. Yatsuka and Aace were very calm in this match, they both just struggled a bit on the Omen. Not sure what to think of the double duelist usage of Riddle tho, both Seoldam and Caedye need to work on their synergy and entries, they seemed partly lost in the match and just didn't get enough space for the team. At least they overcome the hurdle of qualifying for the Split2 stage. Varrel also looks way more cohesive as a team with kAyle, he seemed like decent pickup for them.

posted 6 months ago

Caedye really looks bad on the duelist, dude just doesn't use util, clear corners or gains any space as an entry. Aace and Yatsuka seem like the way more talented Zeta academy players

xero is the truth, next upcoming player, crazy ranked demon!

dude was smurfing on them wtf

posted about a year ago

Statistically he was one of the best sentinel players in all of APAC, what are you on about?

Bro put Egoist 1st when we have never seen him play in tier1

posted about a year ago

what do you think about Tonbo as a player? he seems quite promising and is definitely better than someone like Takej

posted about a year ago

get Spring a better team or save him from NIP, this dude's talent is wasted rn on NIP

Then I misunderstood and am sorry. I was more pissed off of Ascension being kinda put aside. But yes Bleed isn't a masters winners candidate in all likelihood, I was more thinking of them being able to qualify to like one tourney or more throughout the season.

posted about a year ago

I don't get how PRX is that much worse when they have insane enough time to adjust and prepare with Monyet who also had unbelievable stats and a debatable better apac season individually than Jinggg. He isn't Jinggg and Nobody is and plays like him, he probably won't pull out rounds win out of nowhere like him. But it is also not like you are giving him even the chance to showcase the skill he has and the potential he brings to the team. He has a way bigger agent pool than Jinggg, he doesn't overheat as much as him but he is an incredible smart and good player that could change and benifit the gameplay style for PRX in the long term. They will be able to flex more crazy agents comps and could profit of Monyet not doing the same mistakes as Jinggg does against eco rounds.

Even if you are assess matchups, you are probably being wrong. Teams like Jadeite and Mith had been romured throughout the year that they had been destroying tier 1 teams in scrims and both of those orgs didn't even make it to Ascension, you are very presumptuous in claiming Ascension and tier2 in APAC was bad and believing they wouldn't be able to compete in tier1.

posted about a year ago

You are saying this as if Scarz, DK and Boom wouldn't have been able to beat teams like T1, GenG, Zeta, TS and RRQ. APAC only had two great teams throughout this year in tier1 with DRX and PRX, the others looked very unfinished, inconsistent rough and lacked achievements in the internationals. This next year should be just more competitive in general and Bleed is not bad at all, just because you think Ascension wasn't good in Apac, for my part I do believe that the old roster of Scarz and Bleed would have been able to make the rest of APAC tier 1 sweat aside from the top 2 . They have some real potential and have great staff that can make it work.

posted about a year ago

Yeah if Juicy was allowed in it would have been a even more crazier roster. T1's problem for me are them not having a real great Igl and their midrounding being somewhat lackluster at certain moments at Champs and Tokyo, this really put my expectations lower for them. Aside from that the upgrades are really good tho on paper and Xccurate should be able to bring in some experience, if they fix the igling issue they could and should compete for top 3 in APAC. I also somewhat expect RRQ to be a real dark horse tho for this next year, Jemkin and Estrella are some real great upgrades over the old players they had, their coaching and adjustments throughout the season also were superb, I am kinda excited to see what Ewok is gonna bring out with this improved RRQ.

posted about a year ago

There is so much crazy doubt on Bleed with Yay for some reason, they really think Bleed's old roster would not have been able to beat T1 even tho they were smoking them before in pracc.

Bleed gets Yay, has Sscary and Crazyguy -> says they are midtable???
They should be easily top 3 in APAC

Yay owns these frauds at RRQ and T1

Jokes aside APAC might become very exciting next year 👀

At 52:13 for the Vod in the next game on Sunset they matched together again with Flipz, you can clearly hear two voices out of the Fade which Deryeon is playing.

Ez for Les Sixz!
JP orgs need to try out more new talent if a f/a team is this good and filled with cracked aim players

Spread the word, Tonbo is a real Japanese prospect that should be on bigger radar for the Japanese orgs

Tonbo is really crazy!!! Someone get him to tier1

This region is so dead, they will never learn to produce home grown new talent.

EDG were trolling before, the moment they took the games seriously they 3-0ed both BLG and ASE. They are by far still the best Chinese team. They lost a series or two, but are still without a doubt the most experienced team in China and if you watched the last two matches they are a lvl above the rest in their region.

Nice fast statement by Bleed🩸. Hopefully it clears out the things people have spread here in this thread.

Thinking about huge oversight of Bleed if the ban is not lifted yet, I hope they make a statement or reply in some form. I actually agree with Fayde on the ruling issue of Riot in cheating regards those are things that shouldn't be easily disregarded.

posted about 2 years ago

His bans have been lifted since then, otherwise it would not make sense for Bleed to sign him for the ascension roster. I can't imagine they put all the effort to create their academy team then promote him for it all to be cancelled because Juicy can't compete because of a going ban.

You are always spreading negativity for no reason. Do you think such threads are helpful?

There is a reason why there is so much hate for KR in VLR and you are one of the problems as always. You are not helping yourself and your region out.

For me it's about the image that you create for yourself and partly just makes KR fans look worse on this site.

posted about 2 years ago

With how things are going you won't ever see more than 1KR team on stage.

posted about 2 years ago

normally not, he plays more of an initiator role in his previous teams. He seems very talented mechanically and they have time maybe they put him on the duelist role but tbh they don't have anyone else who plays Raze in the team.

my reply kinda doubled huh?

This is my pickem
https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/9d9b5c86

I went for two really big upsets here, the first one is EDG coming alive out of group A which is tbh very hard to do and probably very unrealistic and the 2nd being Zeta beating Loud in a possible rematch.

My reasons are that PRX and EDG are scrimpartners who probably knew each other very well and when it comes to that PRX kinda struggles against teams who are generally prepared for the set-plays they have and also my absolute Hopium/Copium take on EDG being a team with a lot of potential and firepower. Realistically both PRX and Liquid probably win group A but with the 2nd place curse everything can happen. Also Liquid kinda don't lose to latam teams so they probably beat Lev.

In Group B you have my Zeta pick:
Zeta is a team that tbh nobody surely can predict how they will do, they haven't played in a while and are bootcamping in Poland since the last two weeks with a the young sub Xdll who is 16 year old. Also with them being a team that's like to anti-strat they maybe can cook up some stuff that just beats a team like Loud in a rematch. They are right now a big "?" and I would like to see them performing well.
