Nah my preds are doing ok, I am pretty happy with how the matches went actually.

posted about 2 years ago

Did you even watch the stream? Because I swear to God you didn't do it, they literally said it dude that they placed Guild that low because they didn't believe they would beat Optic or Loud. My fucking point is them saying it, the power ranking title is confusing because they actually don't rank it like you said they did.

posted about 2 years ago

newsflash I never said the powerrankings were good, I just fucking explained their probable thought-process they had for this ranking. I swear people in VLR can't read for some reason

posted about 2 years ago

Just because the ranking was wrong doesn't mean what I said was wrong, that's how Platchat thought it would go out they went for the more realistic placements instead of the actual power of the teams in the ranking they did. I literally predicted both Loud and Optic to lose in those first matches

posted about 2 years ago

I know, I have it in my pickems https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/0ebe8ea0

I just explained what Platch Chat probably thought nothing more there

posted about 2 years ago

it was like 10pm for JP on a sunday, I kinda doubt that we should expect high viewership for them on the opening match.

posted about 2 years ago

it doesn't makes sense tho, the opening game had over 300k viewers overall? So was that a real complain or are you just memeing?

posted about 2 years ago

I also heard how they basically destroyed a top 5 apac team with ease in scrims, so maybe with luck we will see some really interesting matches.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes, but actually no. This placement was very reliant on Guild not beating Optic and Loud, that was what they said in the stream. It's a bit of both, because genuinely you would not put Lev that high if they weren't already confirmed to get 7-8th placements at least.

posted about 2 years ago

Well this ranking is more about them beating both Optic or Loud to make it through groups. How can they be higher placed when they may have not a chance to make it further than 9-10th in the event? They are also a team with low LAN experience so it's pretty difficult to make a case where they go deeper in the tournament.

We will watch your face when FPX wins against Xerxia with one sub, also NTH owns them
NTH > Xerxia

posted about 2 years ago

Copium also Xerxia is not making it out of group B. Btw surely this is the tournament where Rb isn't going super negative again right?

posted about 2 years ago

Ah yes Ovation eSports vs Angry Titans the most expected upper finals matchups ever.

Jokes aside both teams are really looking great, the innovation of Ovation is especially cool and AT is a really decent team that have good ideas. But just for the DACH representation alone I want Ovation to win, however it won't be easy.

Good luck to both teams and may the better one win.

posted about 2 years ago

If the are lucky with the groups they could have a good chance and make it through, but yeah it's super hard even for them. But tbh you shouldn't worry that much, Loud has great players that can do some really insane stuff even if they are tactically little behind NA and EMEA. Just believe in them, they are a great team with a lot of the best players in the world.

The way you saw osu! just felt very ignorant as an osu! player who invested too much time in a circle clicking game. :) There is still a lot I could tell you about osu! but I will stop now.
I just will link this and a bit more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1-wTmOELQ8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNCVIWrqWGA&t=33s osu! as an esport.

posted about 2 years ago

i mean, do you play it? and whats your rank? the way you talk is like people who say non-pros cant have an opinion on the pro scene

I am rank 22k in osu!std right now, and was a top 100 player in osu!droid about 3 or 4 years ago.

-> claims i am oblivious to other osu mechanics without stating other osu mechanics

Are you fr now? being able to hit 200 bpm streams is mechanical skill it's literally takes technique and stamina for that. Can't you understand that sentence or what?

again timing and claiming there are other mechanics without providing any evidence. youre not real

maybe you just misunderstand me, I meant mechanical skill with that, you probably think about other buttons you have to press like going beyond x and z probably right? So is technique that have to be learned not defined as a mechanic for you?
Then mapping comes to in my mind which also takes a lot of time and should be defined as a mechanic in that game.

am saying only osu isnt the hardest game mechanically. it is hard absolutely a hard game but not the most mechanical. but you simply dont use your keyboard as much as games like starcraft, fortnite or gunz and it isnt as hard to aim as quake, fortnite, cs. i'll use your own argument against you since you like it so much. youve never played any of these games to a high level

you are right but I am just ranting about your first point you said about osu!

"Its 99% about timing tbh, it doesnt require high level aim or keyboard mechanics, u literally only press 2 buttons"

I just want to tell you that you are wrong about that because your understanding of "timing" in osu! doesn't makes a lot of sense to my understanding of the game. Yes it easier to aim because it is a 2d game that's obvious dude, but reaching high lvls just takes time like other games do.

Of course a game like Starcraft is a lot harder in mechanics, I am not disagreing with that, I also don't claim knowledge about that game or the other ones. I'm just telling you that osu! is a game about pure mechanical skill and claiming it is 99% timing is simple minded.

posted about 2 years ago

"I have played it"

-> do you mean you are a 6 digit that played 9* maps with relax, because the way you talk about osu! makes you seem completely oblivious to any other in-game mechanic in the game.

Being able to hit 200bpm deathstreams is a mechanical skill, reading AR 11 and low AR EZ-mod maps is a skill. That are things you have to practice to get good at it.

Btw reaching 100k in Gridshot is super easy compared to be able to hit 300bpm deathstreams, your comparison makes you oblivious about other in-game mechanics.

" Timing" is a skill in osu! - It is a lot more than that, it is technique, stamina, reading, aim control and finger control which are all mechanical skill you have to put thousands of hours in to get a good lvl in that game.

-> You using that term "timing" makes it obvious that you haven't played osu! to any high lvl in your life and are evaluating to the very basics you know as a noob in that game.

posted about 2 years ago

You never have played osu! to a high degree if you say that. osu! is one of the games where the mechanical skill makes it addicting to play, because improvement is one of the things you see when you set scores on maps. Timing is definitely is only a small part of it, it's a game which relies super high lvl mechanical skill, being able to tap on the keys very fast and accurate, having consistent aim while playing high BPM maps that makes it hard to aim. Hitting jumps that go from the start to the end of your monitor in milliseconds. All that makes osu! one of the most hardest games in terms of skill ceiling, the game is over 10 years old and every month records are set that were thought to be impossible. The game may not that hard to learn but reaching a high lvl requires a ton of dedication and talent that not everybody has.

-> osu! is a game that heavily relies on the mechanical skill of a player, it's also very physically demanding on your hands if you play a very high lvl the possibility of getting carpal tunnel is definitely high without taking breaks.

-> a game where the skill ceiling is pretty much the sky, that is osu! if you follow top players.

It would be a huge upgreat for 100T if it ever happens but personally I dislike the playstyle of 100T, it feels like it wouldn't fit him. I just want that smeaging f0rsaken.

From a indirect contact I heard that Forsaken will probably go to America next year. A org with a lot of money in Asia wanted to buy him out but Forsaken declined saying he will go to NA next year. I'm not 100% sure tho if this is still the case when PRX could get to franchising with luck, but if they don't, there is probably good chance he will go for the bag and go to a good team either in NA or EMEA.

Doesn't matter if your entry Jett goes 0/8 in Fk with the awp.
But yeah Buzz is a great player, so is Mako, Zest and Stax.
Very great players.

2/5 bottom fraggin as the duelist is not good enough to win any internationals, when he is getting outaimed his team struggles a lot. I am sorry that I may have been wrong about him bottomfragging for most of the event, but he surely wasn't close to being one of the best duelist in the event.

I am not "hating" him since Iceland I am more of being very critical of him since the very first international he played. Also since he was one of the most underperforming players if you compare his regional stats to the international ones.
-> https://twitter.com/_SushantJha/status/1518806084374642688?s=20&t=mf6AUb3gzF_bFeuZv7O0LA

My point should have been, he hasn't shown a lot and what he showed was not enough for the team, he seems to be the weak link of the team. If anybody think that those stats are enough for winning Copenhagen, then you my guy have inhaled to much Hopium.

Definitely true, it feels like nobody has watched any of those matches and are saying things to post shit.
He will probably struggle against better teams who can shut down certain setups from NTH, but come on guys!!! Let's wait and see what will happen.
The last thing we saw is him owning CR and Zeta infront of 13k people on LAN.

posted about 2 years ago

Also 2 of those matches were once they completely dominated, those really are nothing special. When it comes to the ones where there is a lot of pressure, he struggles a lot and this goes even far beyond Iceland just looking at Champions he had super hard time against FNC and C9.

posted about 2 years ago

It's bothers me because DRX could be actually good if they had a star firepower ability on the main entry role. The reason why he even can keep up is because the setups of DRX are allowing him to get a lot of those kills. If he can't get his shit together then DRX will never win a international event.

posted about 2 years ago

He had an off day in every match they lost in internationals struggling to get over 150 ACS in those matches. He is playing super important roles and he got owned everytime it came down to the important matches.

posted about 2 years ago

Accept the truth dude, since you can't argue with actual arguments.

posted about 2 years ago

Happens when the region is a one team region since it's very conception. DRX will probably get to playoffs and will get owned there when Rb is bottom fragging again.

posted about 2 years ago

Hahaha Rb was bottom fragging in Iceland for the most of the event. The problem with him is that he can't hit any apw shots for life. He is one of the issues from DRX since Champions, there is a reason why they are trying to make him play less Jett.

posted about 2 years ago

I swear it feels like nobody saw any JP matches when they did the predictions they just look at the results and say: "haha Zeta fell off cause they lost OMEGALUL".
The region literally improved so much that NTH just beat Zeta because they played insanely well, almost nobody is for some reason considering this??? It just so unreasonable for me.

posted about 2 years ago

No, they played two days on LAN infront of a crowd of 13k people. 2 Bo3s and one Bo5

posted about 2 years ago

Crazy absolute crazy what Northeption did here. In a single day they managed to completely anti-strat the maps that Zeta had beaten them the day before. Not only were they the first team in JP to get a map against Zeta, they were the first in this stage to beat them.

Whoever is scouting for NTH needs a pay raise, they managed to find 5 absolute insane players that could matchup the super team from JP. Xnfri is somebody to look out for in the future same with the rest of the team.

GG, congrats to Northeption and good luck in Copenhagen!

Let's make JP proud NTH!!!

posted about 2 years ago

Just go all five maps for peak viewership

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah stop baiting dude you gain nothing from this.

Sehr schwach von dir, geh zurrück zu CS Bruder, wenn du nix aussagekräftiges beitragen kannst, dann solltest du am besten Leise sein. Du hast absolut keine Ahnung von was du redest.

I hate it when people talk shit without knowing anything, NTH is good there was always a possibility for upsets here. Zeta is not even playing bad but NTH is crazy at anti-strating the mappicks from Zeta.

posted about 2 years ago

Why are you talking shit when you really seem to don't have any knowledge of them?

posted about 2 years ago

wow Zeta lost a map already, ngl this is unexpected :o

posted about 2 years ago

I think this tier list will age very badly, Zeta just played Infront of a crowd with 13k people and are playing better than ever before and APAC also is a region not to be underestimated.

  • PRX will cause chaos which do work against teams like Guild/FPX/2nd seed NA especially guild who have shown signs of weakness against teams like Navi and BIG where chaos just confused the heck out of them.

I disagree by a lot because the Hopium for the EMEA and NA teams is too high overall despite having the two favorites to win the event.

  • FPX will play at least with one sub which will be detrimental to their performance. If they are really unlucky they will have 3 subs and then it's pretty much game over for them.

  • FNC and Optic are the clear favorites with Loud also being a tough competition for them.

  • DRX is never to be underestimated if they are on form they will do insane damage to any team in this tournament. Only cause of worry is their midrounding which is sometimes very lackluster considering how reliant they are on the set plays.

  • The only ones I can see not performing well is KRÜ and the 2nd seed of BR (maybe also 2nd seed APAC) with them just not showcasing previously the lvl of the other regions currently have.

I have watched every region so far in this stage other than Latam.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't get the Zeta or #2 seed of Apac pick, it doesn't make sense especially Zeta.

posted about 2 years ago

#MARUWIN
I want the impossible to happen, let's make Korea look competitive Maru!!!

posted about 2 years ago

I hope this match will be close, both teams rather impressed me in this stage.

  • Zeta are still looking good coming back from Masters 1 and now have a even bigger mappool with very cool and interestings comps. Good fundementals that always set up some insane midrounding, not to mention also the talent of the roster being absolute insane, everybody just has the potential to clutch different 1vX scenarios.
  • NTH is always atonishing to look at, the org somehow manages to get insane talent on their Valo team every single time, now with Meteor, xnfri, Derialy, JoXJo and Blackwiz although some of them needs polishing, the talent of the roster is definitely visible, especially with Meteor who looks straight up like a demon in game. Good mechanical talent that uses good strats and various interesting set ups.

Zeta is definitely favoured to win this but hopefully this will be a fun match to watch

no, shouldn't be. In the last stage it was a Bo5 in grandfinals
