Japan has shown large interest in the game. You can see this by the viewer numbers. It's just free money lmfao. And Korea just has always been a strong esports scene. So they are trying to make sure that Korea is a part of this game because Korea generates some of the strongest players in any game they are actively a part of.

That's the main reason. I guess it's slightly discrimination. But it's reasonable considering how interesting it can be if they tap into the japanese market because League has never really got into Japan. And Korea just is always a place where esports are mainstream.

Your Lie in April(Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso) is a very good show. It's probably my favorite show ever.

A shape of voice/A slient voice(Koe no Katachi) is a movie. But a very good one. I think there are a few parts where they just removed stuff from the source material. But other than that. It's one of the best adaptations of a manga ever made.

Try some mobile rhythm games. There are a ton of really fun and free ones. Honestly I think these are better than PC rhythm games just because of how unique they are.

Arcaea(IOS and Android): It's a 4 lane rhythm game with 3d notes in the sky and and sliding sky notes which can move up and down and where ever. The 4 lanes also sometimes just tilt left and right slightly as well. It's one of the most well designed rhythm games ever. Highly reccommend.

Dynamix(IOS and Android): It's a rhythm game with hit lines on the left and right side as well. So the notes can be going from left to right or vice versa. I personally love this. Highly reccomend.
Some Gameplay

Phigros(IOS and taptap[for Android u have to download taptap to install this and u can just uninstall tap tap right after): It's a rhythm game which is completely free. It's not possible to pay money. The annoying thing is that you have to farm in game credits to unlock songs. So the gimmick with this game is that the line where the notes come down to. Can literally move however it wants and notes can come from above or below. So you can have the line spin. Go to the top left. Flip over. Go up and down. Literally endless possibilities. Highly recommend.

Voez(IOS and Android): Voez is a rhythm game with how ever many lanes it wants. And those lanes can move left and right. So things can get ridiculous. Highly Recommend.

Zeta Division and Paper Rex/Bren might be able to do something. But Zeta would have to be the best they've ever been bc they don't use gimmicks like v1 did and PRX and Bren have to have their duelists pop off. They always pop off. But they need to pop off super hard. Which is just unlikely. Because there are super good duelists at Berlin anyways who can probably at least match the SEA duelist carries.

Also HL and VK look decent. I'd put HL over VK personally but that's just my opinion. I think HL should at least get top 8 though.
