a single nietzsche quote really got that many people tight lmaooooo

now imagine how mad people got when he was alive, man was a historical ragebaiter

you just have a fundamental misunderstanding of what cs players enjoy. "doing the same shit constantly" is exactly why they like it, it's the same experience every time and the only thing you can work on is improving yourself gradually. it's the same reason cs players make fun of the abilities, because they just hate anything too chaotic and unpredictable

some ppl prefer a game that constantly evolves and makes you learn how to adapt (valorant) and some ppl prefer a game that stays the same and allows you to master the fundamentals (cs)

not scripted, u just don't know what chinese esports culture is

posted about 2 years ago

i mean you need that mentality to make winners

in league the NA teams just bomb out every event and their attitude is like aww nice try we'll get them next time, it's why korea-cn dominates them

their staff just takes turns shitting on them LMAO i respect it tho

this attitude is what gets players to grow while "nice" coaches just laugh it off and stagnate

he had a bad series it happens, no player has banger performances every single game

my conspiracy theory is that there's some higher ups at DRX that are pressuring them to get value out of this DRX Prospects shit so they keep incentivizing the team to promote the players to the main roster or at least try them out

posted about 2 years ago

idk why ppl think bleed even have a chance they're hard underdogs. if the stars align and everyone just shoots head maybe but its like TLN 70-30 odds

posted about 2 years ago

It's sad because most of them stopped fighting back after MEMEA collapsed in groups. Hopefully they improve slightly but not that much so that they at least have some hope before the disappointment

tuyz and less are the only consistent carries for LOUD atm, i don't see it as enough. they could definitely make it as that third spot but i don't expect much

This is an epic description of Paper Rex that doesn't apply to any other apac team we see at LANs lol

you didn't link anything lil bro

my only hot take is that prx might not make it. DRX are gonna improve super fast while their rookies improve and T1 is already dangerous af

(I know some people still assmad about the standing up idrc)

  • Grind since beta coming from Overwatch
  • Go to Japan to join Crazy Racoon
  • Learn how to IGL in a different language
  • Get fucking owned at LAN
  • Go to NA to compete again speaking a different language
  • Come back to Korea and do ok
  • Get cut because the team disagrees with your vision
  • Join a totally rebuilt roster with a ranked player and a guy whose last LAN was 3 years ago
  • Stomp entire region
  • Get 2nd at first international LAN together, instantly getting the best result for a Korean team EVER

this guy has evolved so much since the og days, literally insane. i used to think his IGLing was mid af but he completely proved me wrong

I was happy with either team winning tbh, but it was really great to see Zellsis step it up at the end and take them across the finish line. Something about it felt right.

I feel like people lost perspective regarding GENG now that they got so far, when this is legit a team of misfits. SEN are a championship team that put together some of the best players in Americas. GENG was a bunch of players nobody considered too highly (besides texture) and it's so insane that they even got this far. So happy for them even tho winning would have been even sweeter. If they got this far on their first event together other teams should be scared of their future

nah, they showed insane fundamentals. none of their gameplay was fluked or lucky, they just played good ass valorant
they'll be able to match anyone that shows up at shanghai

posted about 2 years ago

in this case GEN are just such a new team that going undefeated hurt them, they weren't psychologically prepared for the pressure of a tight match

it's like a fat dude making fun of someone's appearance man, like there's nothing else to say

posted about 2 years ago

we don't know his impact outside of the game, you could replace him with someone who gets 5 more kills every map guaranteed and the team can become much worse because of intangibles

geng look world class, why change what isn't broken. if they went out in swiss stage i would understand lol

nothing pisses me off more than loser ass fans that keep parroting "curse this choke that" like leave that to the actual haters lol

anyone that has eyes can see how insane geng are, they came from nothing and already reached this far. they will do well this year
