Is aproto possibly an option for controller role?
yeah thats what I said, Im not sure if one is more likely to be the 6th over another so I included who I think the possible options are. I'm confident that the 5 starters are probably going to be on the final roster, and that one of the 4 6th man players I put will be the 6th on the final roster.
the 6th man role is almost impossible to guess, but I predict it will be an oper so I put a bunch of valid and likely candidates
Ik it’s very unlikely, and I really like 100T now, and think they can be an amazing team, but a tenz cryo duo is very tempting. Rationally thinking though the team as it is now would be better.
In the end I’m hoping tenz doesn’t get resigned and gets signed by 100T that cryo and Tenz duo would be crazy. If that does happen tho idk what would happen with asuna or derrek, they both deserve to be starting 5.
I think if tenz is put as an entry fragging duelist instead of an op, then it would be ggs for others. He was insane and probably the best player in the world when he was playing entry agents like Jett, Reyna, raze etc.
Tenz
Zekken
Dephhh
Dapr
Aproto
6th koala, dicey, bdog, will
I think Kaplan will bring in aproto from ghost to fill controller, and I think he might even bring koala, but either way the 6th is probably going to be an oper if they plan on not resigning tenz
Bang is staying on 100T asuna said it and said him and bang are a package deal
If it fails, then you have stellar, stellar is still very good and he can lead a top team. I think using the 6th man roster spot to try and create a top na igl would be worth it, 100T is so good at bringing the best out of their players for example bang wasnt even a controller when he started playing for 100T, now look at him
I think sgarres can make some magic Happen just like he did with bang, before 100T and at the beginning of 100T bang didn’t play controller, rather initiator. Then he was moved to controller and over time he’s gotten comfortable and really showed how good he can be and he keeps getting better too
I think Zander has great potential and could be a top igl that can frag out too, which is absurdly rare. I think it's worth it based purely on the chance of Sgarres helping Zander realize his true potential and play at his full potential, because if he can play at his full potential he could be an insanely good player
Most Igls lack good mechanics and aim but make up for it with their calls, which is why people say if FNS had good aim/mechanics he would be the best player in the world. Zander has great aim/mechanics and is very smart and an good ( very sucky recently ) igl, If he improves his calls and ability to play as a flex he could be like FNS if he had great aim/mechanics.
I think if he gets signed it won't be as an igl, maybe a controller, but I think it's unlikely because recently he's been kind of bad and his buyout is expensive. Most teams probably won't want to pay a lot of money upfront for him at the moment
That's fair, it would be kind of shitty to do to stellar, also zander's play calling can be changed as he learns from Sgarres, and It's unlikely that 100T would do this because they don't want to put Stellar in that kind of position but if they were purely focused on talent, and winning it would be a great move. I just really like the upside Zander has and think if he can play at his full potential, he could be the best igl NA and maybe in the world, but right now he is far from it.
I respect that but I think the 6th man spot would be the best for a player with alot of potential but not at the top level yet, which I think Zander is, So why not take a chance at a future superstar, I can't really see a better way to use the 6th man roster spot
Zander can fill, but he sucks at it, so he can spend time learning to get better w Sgarres. If it doesn't work out then you still have stellar and a very very strong roster
In Short, Stellar is best for short term, but Zander has more potential, but he sucky rn, so have Sgarres help him out and make him as good as he can be, so later on when zander is better the team is a lot better too
For the Long term, it would be best for Zander to be signed as the 6th man, because as of right now there is no place for him in the starting 5. Bang is a way better controller, top#2 NA and getting better, and Stellar is a better igl than him. However, Zander has a lot of potential, which I think Sgarres could draw out of him. The weakest spot of 100T roster is Stellar, give Sgarres a few months and I believe he can get Zander playing at his full potential and make their previous weak point, one of their strongest. Plus Bang, Zander, and Cryo all have chemistry as they have played on a team before, and bang and Zander stream together. Overall I think this would be a perfect use of the 6th man spot, and a great move for the future of the team in general.
100T W
I think Zander has a very high potential and could be the best igl if he can draw out that potential, however right Now bang is a way better controller, stellar is a better igl, so the best thing for Zander would be to sign him as the 6th and have Sgarres help him reach his full potential and fill stellar’s role
Bang is #2 controller na and the more he plays the better he looks, if zander replaces stellar then 100T has no igl, and bang>Zander
I think Zander being signed as 100T 6th would be perfect, I think he has the potential to be the best igl but rn he’s far from it. I think rn stellar is better and a safer choice, that’s why if you sign him as a 6th and have him work with Sgarres to draw out that potential after a few months he’ll be perfect to fill stellar
Sign zander to be 6th, start stellar bc he is better rn, have Sgarres coach zander to fill stellar's role, and when zander proves he can be a top tier igl have him fill stellar's role, zander has super high potential but a low floor, stellar has a good floor rn and is the safe option
I absolutely agree, it would be the perfect role for him, as he can work with Sgarres and prepare to take over Stellar's place. 100T would have a high potential igl and skip the shaky start by putting him as the 6th and coaching him up
I agree, but is it worth the shaky start to Franchising, upfront cost, and role confusion with bang - Zander struggles on non-controller agents and bang is proving himself to be better each time he plays (2nd best controller NA and maybe even #1 soon)
Short version : I think Stellar Has a better floor but Zander has a better ceiling : So Stellar = Safe , Zander = Risky
Stellar
Right now I think 100T should stick with Stellar, he's over-hated, more flexible than Zander, 100T also has a better controller (Bang), and stellar is a much safer option.
Zander
However, Zander has the most potential of any igl in NA and probably the world. But he's been struggling recently and struggles to adapt. I believe Sgarres would bring out that potential and make him the best IGL in NA and probably globally. However isn't practical right now, it would take time for Sgarres and Zander to show results, and it will also cost a lot of money. Zander has a crazy expensive contract with V1 and the way he's been playing recently the buy-out cost is not worth it, and even if you're confident he'll become the best igl. It will take time for Zander to show results, and in that time in between, there will be a lot of losses as 100T tries to find their footing. With franchising just starting it wouldn't be worth the money, or the risk to sign Zander over Stellar, especially when you have Bang who could overtake marved as best controller NA sometime in the near future.
My predictions are
C9
+Yay +Zellsis
Sen
+victor +Crashies
I think Zander has more potential, especially with Sgarres coaching him, but I think stellar is also pretty good, and more likely to stay. Zander has a crazy expensive contract with V1 and I don't think a lot of orgs think he is worth the price of the buyout right now. He has insane potential though.
I forgot about him at first tbh, and I added vanity for controller 3-5, and Tenz #1 Duelist (If on reyna, Raze, or Jett)
Zander has a crazy contract with V1, which would probably be a super expensive buyout. Just something to consider
bang (controller)
Stellar or fns (igl flex)
Derrek (initiator)
Asuna (Flex)
Cryo (Chamber/Duelist)
Will (6th)
Zekken (signed and wait until eligible)
I think he would be worth a 6th man spot, I think he has a lot of raw potential in valorant and could potentially become one of the best. I would like to see him climb through tier 2 instead of being a 6th man on a roster instead though. He's still relatively new to high level Valorant and sill has a few things to learn and pick up still.
I'm only doing NA because I don't know much about other regions
Chamber/OP
#1 Yay , #2 Cryo , #3-5 Tenz , #3-5 Dicey, #3-5Bdog or #3-5 Tex (not very sure for 3-5)
Initiator
#1 Crashies , #2 Trent , #3 BcJ, #4 Derrek ,
Controller
#1 Marved, #2 Bang, #3-5 Valyn, #3-5 Zander, #3-5 Sick or #3-5 Vanity
Duelist (idk order)
#1 Tenz (On Reyna,Jett,or Raze) #2-4 Zekken, #2-4 Victor , #2-4 Asuna
Flex
#1 Asuna, #2-3 Zekken, #2-3 Zellsis, #4 Jonahp
Who do you think is the 5 best at each role? Chamber/Operators
Duelist
Initiator
Controller
Sentinel
Flex
Igl
Mine is down below but it is only NA because It's the only region I know enough about to rank
I think that the roster just needs 1 big player signed, a player like cryo or yay and that will be enough.
I feel nadeshot is just building up a shock factor for when a big signing is revealed. I feel like 100T will sign 1 big player to replace will and that’s it.
I'd like to see 100T end up with
Bang - Controller
FNS or Stellar - Flex/Sentinel (igl)
Derrek - Initiator
Asuna - Flex
Yay or Cyro - Duelist/Chamber
Zekken - signed and wait for when he becomes eligible
Maybe, who knows, It's what makes rostermania so fun.
I think there are way better players than Stellar and Will available as free agents, and Derrek is very good and likely to stay, but there are some other potential replacements that I personally doubt 100T would go after.
100T almost signed Zander back when Hiko played on 100T, it was Hiko's recommendation. Now that he's proven himself not only Hiko but Nadeshot also has expressed interest in signing him. I think it's likely they'll pick him up now that he has proven himself and has been recommended in the past. That's just my opinion though, anything could happen, that's the fun part.
I think an initiator role would benefit Asuna the most, I think it fits him, especially since he's been playing a lot of kayo recently. It gives him the opportunity to make insane plays with less chance of him being able to die to overheating.
Nadeshot has talked about being very interested in Zander and Cyro, I find it unlikely that Valyn would be picked by 100T since Zander would fill the igl role. Valyn would also be the 3rd mainly controller/smoke player on the roster, and I find it unlikely that 100T drops bang because he is a young talent who shows more potential each time he plays.
