isn't it crazy how EMEA competition is better than the world competition?
B-B-But Optic won Masters 1?! wdym? You are so dumb?
It's very easy to say your own region is the best, since everyone has a bias towards their own region. However, it is very difficult to appreciate and respect the skill other teams have and work they put in. In my opinion there is no best region in VALORANT as the meta seemingly shifts after each international event, which allows for any team from any region to perform as proven by the last 4 international events. NA may have won 2 Masters and EMEA may have won 1 Masters and 1 Champions, but in each tournament the previous winners, who should be projected to win it all may not, in fact, win it all. Prime examples being Sentinels after winning Masters Reykjavik being eliminated from Masters Berlin early and Champions even earlier, Gambit (currently M3C) won Master Berlin but did not win Champions right after, and Acend who won the biggest event of 2021, but struggled in the regional Challengers immediately after. South America, APAC, and Japan deserve recognition for their high placements in recent event, beating out both NA and EMEA teams to place in the Top 4, but does this mean the aforementioned regions are suddenly the best? In my opinion, no, instead it shows how competitive each region is and how each region can be the best, but being the best and staying the best are two different things. Optic won the most recent Masters, but they probably will not win the next international event.
