Why does phoenix need the option to cancel ult?

I find it pointless to have that for 2 easons

1. You're already going kamikaze, there's no advantage in cancelling and losing a few seconds of free info

2. You still have to go through the animation when you come back so you can't even fake ult properly and you still will get knifed

it's pointless
