300-350 is not average i think. its the minimum salary (its called UMR = upah minimum rakyat = minimum salary)

I meant in terms of popularity. The reason WNBA players get paid so much less is bc the league is so much more unpopular compared to the NBA. Esports are not nearly as profitable in APAC as they are in NA/EU.
NA and EMEA players are getting too much money for literally fuck all, meanwhile Br and APAC teams have to actually win something in order to get some real money which prompts them to work harder
unfortunately only in NA, Europe and some places in Asia the salaries of professional players are high. The other regions suffer from a lack of investment and even so, as we can see in the masters, they manage to be competitive. So just imagine if they had the same level of investment as the main regions.
that's merely an outlier. in respective of the whole region, only some teams has "decent" pay.
Even though many NA/EMEA teams are paid several times more than many better teams in other regions, you have to look at the cost of living. In NA and Europe you can only live on 2000 USD per month if you live with your parents, if you live alone only rent is 2000 USD, unlike in many other countries in Asia and South America where a person earning 2000 USD per month is considered middle class and can live very well and with considerable luxury.
The teams collect mostly from sponsorships and product sales. In first world countries, where the cost of living is higher, so is the purchasing power and the amounts paid by sponsors. As a result, teams earn more and are able to pay higher salaries. Thus, this proxy is not so correct to make since the revenue of teams is not symmetrical between countries.
The NIP coming to Brazil is a way they found to pay less for a competitive team and that will give visibility to their sponsors in the same way.
i think its because brazil and fps have a long-date relationship plus some of these brands already parked in brazil and have gained a fanbase over here
