Ults in Valorant

Hot take: the game would be slightly interesting if your team doesn't know if the enemy has ults. It would make players think more and be cautious of countering ults.

IGLs or secondary callers would be in demand if they have the ability to track ults.

I think is fine like that, it make you wonder if they will use it or not. You will kind of know anyways an approximate by the kills and stuffs like that, so in my opinion will not make a difference.

not knowing if enemy has ults will make the pro scene at least run more defaults. knowing enemy ults makes the game more dynamic and lets you play around it.

I think it'd just end up placing an extra burden on the already difficult role of the IGL.

I guess it would be a nice way to reward more strategic teams, but honestly, I think it would be more like an inconvenience that IGLs would soon get used to rather than being a skill that is constantly improved.

there's an argument to be said about that and economy and the fact that they let you know how much damage you did after you died before the round ends, but I think it's best to just let the players focus on other parts of the game (that already can be really confusing) instead of forcing them to essentially write down who gets a kill, who plants, who defuses, etc.

I agree but with the condition, it does not affect casual or ranked play and only competitive/pro play.

Coming from Overwatch, ult tracking is actually a big part of that game.
However if you played it enough you just developed a skill for tracking when they had them.
I still find myself doing that in Val and forgetting I can just press tab to see lol.
