Gambit are playing as Players right now and Virtus Pro as Outsiders. They still can compete but not under their clan tags. Same is happening in other esports

How were gambit and vp players allowed to attend esl pro league then? I know they’re playing as a neutral but i thought entry for russians was not possible

It is possible, only russian airlines are banned, they can go everywhere by going to turkey for example, it only takes more time

it probably depends on the country. Esl is taking place in Germany so visa restrictions probably isn't a problem whereas there could be restrictions for iceland
