It's not underperformance. They had to play yesterday against fnatic a tiring series, while G2 didn't. G2 had all the time to study them, while gambit didn't have time to change (since they had to play yesterday and today). That's how it works. Pehaps Riot should change that, idk.
The fact is, one of the best teams in the world didn't qualify for champions. And not only that, it was G2 who took their place
