there are a few upsides
it isnt as bad when one controller dies on attack, because u can still exec with solo omen/solo brim, this means controllers dont have to play scared as much
you can keep an angle smoked on defense for the entirety of the round/if theres a lot of pressure somewhere u dont have to worry about ever running out of smokes
controllers are already pretty similar to sentinels in stalling potential except controllers are more global, so u can have omen 1-ways and brim smokes constantly stalling the whole map instead of worrying about if they dont go to your chamber trips
Couldn't agree more and besides with the speed boost to Brimmy's Stimmy people can just turn into Sonic the Hedgehog and ferrarri peak like anything. Besides that comp is heavily defender sided. Although in Haven they weren't that needed in defense because Nivera was just playing with G2 by that time. Overall some comps they create look absurd but some have their own meaning. I mean if they hadn't tried more comps then we wouldn't have seen Nivera smashing people on Chamber
