No Kr is a separate region since they have a separate qualifier
its given that its APAC South when you say APAC
maybe in future there is APAC North too ( KR+JP+CN+HK/TW)
yeah Ik that I meant like a combined Qualifiers for Masters too when China gets integrated into VCT
They're already tied to the SEA ecosystem within Riot anyways barring political reasons
I think that can be changed tho right? coz I believe there will also be quite a bit of imports playing from different east asian countries in another countries too so it could be a more cohesive for HK/TW to be in APAC North
and political reasons won't stop that I believe even India and Pakistan for example have got geopolitical issues and Pakistani players cant get Indian Visa but that hasn't stopped orgs from making mixed country teams and competing together in the south asian scene
Nah, seems like they're set on making it so. For example, in League, what was formerly LMS (HK/TW) got merged with SEA Tour into the Pacific Championship Series (PCS), combining SEA with HK/TW. Another example now is the WCS Masters (HK/TW), which is part of the Wild Rift Champions SEA, the official WR esports circuit for Southeast Asia.

all 3 TH teams are into the playoffs ID sure is closest competition to TH but the op is talking about sub region strength as a whole and not just one team even if PRX wins it all thats just one superteam and doesn't make MYSG the best subregion

PRX > TH > ID
but TH and ID aren't far in skill. PSJ and BOOM look just as good if not better than ONIC so the knockoff stage will be interesting
the best sub region in apac south it can be prove to main region if thai teams good performance in lan level this year
