Forcing pro's to play a big new meta change mid Qualifers is against competitive intergrity, Wippie is just suggesting the best time to release the update around the terrible 2 week ruling riot made. (which is uncosistent considering EMEA aren't playing the new patch)

doesn't matter when the patch is released. they can still play on old clients. alot of pro's and coaches agree they shouldn't play on a major meta shift mid qualifers. it ruins the competitive integrity. dumbassssssss

They can't release a patch and then not play it because teams can't scrim on an old patch. They would have to release a scrim client if they wanted to keep pro matches on an old patch for a long period of time.

Wippie's tweet is very pro-centered. The patches and balance changes don't revolve around vct, although I do think they should have played on old patches until playoffs. Unverified, but I did hear in a watch-party twitch chat that Rito asked the pros and the majority of them voted to have the patch in week 5. Could be false.

Derrek's tweet is 5Head though. I still can't believe they buffed the Ares just to nerf it and make it worse when it was COMPLETELY FINE before that.
