Pretty stupid question but why would they scrim against TL? Don't they have the chance to play against Liquid so why would they play against them if they are soon to play against them again

I mean, for practice? It's good to just test out stuff, even if you can face them in a near future

no, if they both agree, it lets them learn more about each other and adapt its a 1 for 1

It is done in all the sports. Before euro/world cups in basketball or football all teams play friendly matches before tournaments. Also the reads goes both ways.

Ok, but like who else are they meant to play, there's only like maybe 8 teams max in Europe that are super high level so playing against someone on The opposite side of the bracket is as good as anyone

i can name 10 EU teams that would be great for practicing against.

Acend, NiP, Heretics, G2, FPX, Gambit, Turkish teams, Guild, BDS, Vitality, Entropiq, Alliance, forZe

ok but like there are 10 teams at iceland, all scrimming at around the same time so they can scrim with eu and not all of those teams will be able to play every day or they may be scrimming one another, thats the main point im trying to make. (also i plucked the number out of nowhere i was having breafast and not rly thinking)
