who are the best teams of the year?

i didn’t know at first who to put it’s between liquid and envy for me:
masters 1 - liquid did jack shit, envy got 4th
masters 2 - envy didn’t qualify, liquid got 4th
masters 3 - liquid didn’t qualify, envy got 2nd
champs - liquid got 4th, envy got 9th-12th
i wanna say liquid because they looked so dominant in LCQ and since champs is weighted heavily, envy won one match against x10 while liquid took down sentinels and cloud9, who are probably both better than envy

here’s the real debate. both masters 1 winners, gambit drastically outperformed acend in masters 2 and 3, it depends on if acend’s champions win against gambit’s champions runner up closes the gap gambit made by barely missing masters 2 and winning masters 3

Objectively, if you give the same value to all three LANS the top goes like this

1.GMB (Top 1, Top 2)
2.Sentinels (Top1, Quarterfinals, Groups)
3.Acend (Quarterfinals, Top1)
4.KRU (Semifinals, Quarterfinals, Early tournament)
5.Liquid/FNC pretty much the same (FNC made it further in Reykjavik, Liquid made it further at champs)

i would put more weight to the champions win so acend has to be over sentinels for me

Yeah, but you can't measure how much more importance champions has over the rest of the tournaments, so counting them as equal is the only was of making a completely objective list

well seeing as to how valorant has a similar blueprint to that of league i'd say :
masters titles = msi titles < champions titles = worlds titles

Yeah, but what do you give more value to, winning Masters 3 or making it to the finals in Champs? What about if it was the semifinals? And why?

All that are opinions, not facts, you know what I mean. That list it's actually fact not an opinion

obviously a masters win is better than a final appearance in champs but a win in champs is better than a masters win, sentinels have a masters win, a quarterfinal appearance and a groups elim while acend has a champs title and a quarterfinal appearance so acend should be in 2.
