pls help, i'm gold rn

i'm current gold 1 rn but i can hold my own in asc lobbies, i just can't seem to win my games because smurfs/throwers/boosted players
i feel like other people in the lobby get away with the dumbest shit, both teammates and enemies, most kills are just either full running headshots or just braindead crouch spray or just cringe
what should i do

edit: i feel like comms are my biggest issue, in gold whenever i try to igl people usually just start throwing or telling me to shut the fuck up but in ascendant they actually listen to comms and use their skulls

take a 1 week break then do 1 match per day no matter win or lose
i went from silver 2 to plat 1 in about 2 weeks while doing this

wouldn't that be like really slow though? i have had times where i've queued 15 comps in a day and i'd need to wait 2 weeks just to even come close to that

doesnt matter if its slow
it gives progress and its much better than just queuing 10 times a day and ending up in an rr deficit
you can do 3 matches max a day

not gonna lie that advice does not apply to everyone. it just depends on how much you can play before you get burnt out. the more you play though the more your MMR/RR gain is solidified making it kinda hard to rank up. I have a couple friends whose rr gain was too bad to reach radiant so they made brand new accounts for more.

Just play more, I guess. You are improving; trust the process (also don't rage queue, if you are tilted, stop)

no need to igl in gold. If you are always playing well the throwing teammates and smurfing will even out and you will win more than lose.

No need of igl or having any strat in gold. just outaim everyone and dont speak a word. u will easily double rankup if u really have ascendant caliber lol.

i was hard stuck gold for a good while trying to igl but when i stopped an focused on my aim i went out of it easily
everyone has ego and if they find someone trying to micro manage every thing they will tilt and troll
if u wanna call just make it basic like split C rush b or play slow type shi

if your mechanics are good then just lock duelist and do fuck all, eventually you'll rank up out of gold based on your mechanics alone

play your games like a bo3, if you lose 2 you stop if you win 2 you stop. if you still want to continue playing take a few hours off before queing again
