Hey guys, planning for a 4 day trip.
I'll be in Kuala Lumpur and being a muslim would love to explore the culture and the mosques.
Any recommendations for anything, spots, food hubs, markets?
I was looking for a balanced vacation where we explore the Batu caves, explore the beach phase near Port Dickson and then Putra + KL
But yes I'm open to any recommendations and suggestions!
Thanks!

go to islamic arts museum if you're into that. It's near the national mosque. Petaling Street/ Central Market is kinda touristy but a lot of locals like going there. There's a Chinese Muslim restaurant called Mee Tarik Restoran at Petaling Street that is fairly popular.

KL has a lot of great food. If I were you I would be researching on what type of food you want to try. I love nasi lemak lol

Nasi lemak (the biggest nasi lemak restaurant in KL is Village Park but it's not in town. I would say it's worth the money.)
Kueh tiao
Nasi kandar
Roti canai
Chicken rice
Laksa (asam laksa/laksa utara)
Nasi kerabu
Nasi kandar
Satay
Rendang
Apam balik
Cendol
Rojak
Otak-otak
Cucur badak
Teh tarik
Ais kacang
The beef noodles restaurant in Petaling Street is popular among locals.
Limapulo is a Perankan restaurant that got recommended by Michelin. I haven't tried but it's worth checking out.
If you're into chili crab you can try out Fatty Crab at Taman Megah. It's halal certified.
Jalan Alor is lowkey a tourist trap lol

Ngl I think the food is the best part of KL lol. KL downtown is farily walkable and you can commute within KL by train but Grab will always be your best friend
