Hi vlr, as announced on this tweet, Riot consider allowing Tier 2 to have a chance to go in master if they win. I wanted to argument for that, but also show you what would like a world where Riot give a path to inter to T2 teams.
tldw ; T2 should have a chance to go in master, it would give more incentive to invest in T2, but also solve some format problem like the 12 team doble elimination bracket for the kickoff.
- Kickoff should have 16 team with the winner of Tier 2 Split 3 having 1 spot.
- For split 1 it's pretty open, nothing is perfect.
- For Champions, winner of ascension should play against 2nd best team in point for last place. (1st team in point and the 2 finalist qual)
