0 actual success in 2021
Relies on individual plays heavily
Seemed stubborn at times
Huge mental burden on supporters with how dominant they can look for 15 minutes and nowhere to be found the next day or within the same map, source: me
Takej=Subroza, similar agent pool and former duelists, inconsistent with map-changing highs and lows
Barce=Cutler, consistent bot fragging with the impact I as a trash viewer do not understand, also makes a play or two a game that makes people love them
Reita and Wardell had slight slumps earlier with the op nerf but Wardell seems to have recovered to full form while Reita on Omen have great lurks but might be constrained from going completely ham
Crow ~ Hazed who have been consistently contributing after their role changes
Constant Role changes, barce went from controllers to duelist and even KJ today, Laz went from sentinels to duelists, even Yoru, Takej went from duelists to Skye and Sage
0 roster changes, the only roster with success without making changes is the Sentinels
Rotating IGLs

The similarities are harrowing

Yes, that just shows how bad Japanese scene is. One of their finalists plays same agents on all maps whereas other finalist plays TSM style as OP described.

Japan shouldn't be having 1 slot on their own, they simply don't deserve it.

You're the only 1Head here. Crazy Racoons play smeag style just like Faze, but at least Faze had some aim to work with, and Raccoons don't have shit.

If they take at least 1 map from EU / NA / BR / KR on Iceland, I will be genuinely surprised.

Also a quick reminder that Japan got destroyed by Korean / SEA teams in other tournaments before VCT.

Neth and Munchkin would outaim most NA players.

Also a reminder that Jupiter beat all of the Korean/SEA teams they played other than peak Vision Strikers. Crazy Raccoon is better than Jupiter and have never played any Korean/SEA teams

I feel like youve watched one round high as fuck and went yup thats 100% right, when forming youre opinion. Laz and Neth are fucking cracked out of their mind and even if japan arent the best region or as good why you gonna shit on them getting a spot complain about other regions not having enough

Even if your assumption is correct and JP level is not there yet, your take is awful. Slots provides opportunities, and allows the minor regions to fight and learn from better teams. If Riot wouldn't give slots to those regions, then they would isolate and never evolve. In the end, it's about having a rich ecosystem and a worldwide competition.

Shit, then why Turkey don't have their own slot? Why CIS don't have their own slot? Oceania? South Asia? MENA? Why does it have to be fucking Japan?

Hello there? Explain your mastermind take pls. Japan is not the only region which needs to be evolved.

Yet TSM was never actually made it into the finals while Jupiter does.

That's because competition in NA is much bigger than in Japan?

It's like saying that KRU is better than Gambit, cuz KRU made it into Latam finals but Gambit got eliminated in EMEA semis. Braindead comparison.

they're not saying that JUP is better than TSM, it's just they have the same roster and agent problems. but yes, JUP are getting better results because the overall competiton in NA is tougher, but you didn't have to word it like that :)

this is simply because there's a lot less top tier teams in Japan. Not saying the top tier teams are worse than those in NA or other regions, but there's a much bigger skill gap in JPN between the top few teams and rest

Yes, Jup actually made every JP finals but still loses the must-win games this year, plus the competition is on another level in NA

I think Absolut Jupiter like 100T in NA. IMO
