Am I the only one completely bamboozled by the recent vetoes? I swear we're trying to speed run playing all 7 maps this event. Is it just hindsight to say that the tactical surprise factor of banning Haven and Lotus against VIT don't outweigh the comfortability benefits we would see from already playing against SEN?

I swear if we get drawn against G2 and we play Pearl + Fracture... Would still lose after EDG destroyed them on the map.

i dont understand the lotus ban. like they were so good against sen and i dont think vit had enough time to counterstrat

Exactly. We're not good on Split either. Both currently and historically.

Difference between regional play in 2020 and international play though... Our win rate on Split in international events is 40%. Only Sunset is lower at 0% but we've played it just twice.

Termi has only one goal imo
One comp 7 maps
If they near perfect this on every map it is really over for other teams
They can throw other teams into frenzy just by changing single agent

Tejo on every map was a cool gimmick since we have the GOAT free1ng but the entire composition...? We're pushing it. We weren't exactly throwing VIT in a frenzy by switching out any agents. Unless you count Omen to Brimstone which really didn't throw them into a frenzy...

i mean flashback vyse/viper and hyunmin duelist
You cant change beyn and freeing
Mako can change to astra if hyunmin plays any other duelist than yoru
only breach/tejo are compulsory

Yeah the problem is just we aren't doing that whatsoever... I'm not sure what the solution is but maybe this is all just in hindsight.

I mean everything but the lotus ban makes sense. By banning lotus they showed another map they didn't need to and Vit didn't ban split in the previous game which probably means that Vit was confident on it.

I'm not sure. Maybe I just underrate the power of unpredictability but surely no team can pull out an entire antistrat on two maps in just one night?
