"Japanese strength training"

Japan Tier 2 is currently referred to in this ironic way.
JP VCT has many excellent imported KR and RU, but
They are constantly tasked with the mission of carrying extremely heavy barbells called "JP players" during matches.
Imported players who successfully endure rigorous training will later become outstanding professionals and join Tier 1 teams.
In other words, it is sad to say, but region itself is a training gym for very good imported player.

(HYUNMIN would be a prime example of recent success.
He performed barbell complexes with so much load that he could not even advance to JPTier 2 LMAOOOOO)

Today I saw someone call VCJ VCK. And I don't know if I said it here but I remember calling VCJ the training grounds of Koreans.

I've come up with an elusive plan to fix the entire region but that might never happen. Riot needs to merge the Tokyo servers with Korean servers. The servers should be hosted at Korea, since it doesn't matter if Tokyo server players get lower ping, everyone here is a bot anyways. The sheer toxicity of the Koreans will change Japanese Valorant scene forever. This scenario would be so good. It's kind of even better if the servers are hosted in Japan instead. Since even after doing that JP players will still play like shit, and that will provoke the Koreans into being more toxic cause they get worse ping but still play better.

The reason the Korean server is a disconnected server is because of the laws (related to game money), and 99% of Korean Radiant players with the potential to become pros already play on HK or TK.

It might be good for a Japanese kid who wants to go pro to only play on HK. Even when I play, it's sometimes painful in Tokyo to be honest. Of course, in HK you have to face million cheaters.

This is why I said it's a very unrealistic scenario but one that might be the best.

There is nothing better to regional rivalries when it comes to improving regions in sport. Look at baseball.

Another good option could be Riot hosting an event in Japan, and a Korean team winning the event against a Japanese team while bming the fuck out of them. This would replicate Ichiro raging when South Korea placed their flag on the mound back in 2006. That clip of Ichiro raging is me whenever I see any Japanese team play other than current DFM.

It doesn't help that JP eSports fans are absolute dumbfucks and shooting bodies will get you warned. Even the casters look down upon it and comments on it mid-game. Any time someone BMs in eSports, everyone in the chat goes fucking insane as if they did some sort of heinous crime. Even in Apex this was the same.

Like I said, the only way to fix this might be regional rivalries.

Regional rivalries only works when both parties actually develop their players well, Japan skips this important part and proceeds to just import from our "rivals", they literally didn't want to endure the pain of spending time to develop young prospects only to realize the realities they're in. I foresaw this will which is why I'm so against imports to the point I look borderline racist.

No. Regional rivalries will naturally improve the players. If they become rivals then why would they import from them? Right now they aren't even close to being rivals, they are very comfortable with each other, so they don't mind at all when it comes to importing players from them.

Everyone on VLR knows that imports are bad for the development of the region. Japanese eSports fans just don't seem to care because they don't have any sort of passion.

Which is why I always pushed for import slots reduction.

The fans needs to hate other region enough and stop supporting everything.

Idk about this man, I've been using this site for 9 months now and everytime I say anything about reducing imports I get treated like fucking outcast and racist. At some point maybe I should just be one if that means the scene actually gets better. I mean there's no harm in it, a portion already treated me as such the moment I talked about Sc0rz and their DEI program

From what I know, a lot of KR server players are literal kids, and I've heard they are mostly annoying as fuck, although they have cracked aim. Maybe getting diffed by annoying aimbot kids will solve the mentality issue lol

that's one of the main differences I felt. More than 80% of the KR servers are real babies in middle school or younger. They really don't know how to install international clients. People who play TK or HK servers in Korea are usually in their 20s, unless they're Radiant / pro wannabes.

on the other hand there don't seem to be many young japanese students on the tokyo server.

The thing is there's still a huge difference in terms of accessibility of PC and as an extent PC gaming. In Japan, it's hard to imagine buying a kid pre-junior high a PC, and even for middle/high schoolers it's a rare occasion.

I've heard that Tokyo server has gradually gotten more ”toxic" ala other server hosts in APAC. Some explain that it's due to Emons who got into Valo due to Kato/MRSH, some say it's just a natural progression of a competitive game, but anyways, maybe Tokyo is not the safehaven of toxic-free experience anymore already.

I can't believe that we're so lost that Kato fans actually looked like JP hope istg

One toxic streamer shifting to Valorant won't affect the scene like that. 99% of the time if you make a bad play in Tokyo ranked, you will not get flamed.

5 years into the scene finally fans realized this? That's what we get when we started importing like there's no tomorrow.

When there are prospects in the scene and yet we're still importing, 5 years into the scene and development progress still stuck at 0.

Zeta Academy make it look like as if they hogged all the young prospects, when in reality orgs like Sc0rz exists.

They need to stop importing everyone like they're some goddamned refugees

I know someday that shit like this outburst from community will happen only a matter of time.

It's time to stop importing. 0 import slots next year. You guys will lose, BADLY in fact. But the reality is you guys are supposed to lose in the beginning. Japanese orgs and this region as a whole are running away from reality and choose to cover it up with bandaids instead of preventing them from happening again. Why are we developing other players instead?? Let them be, who are we??? We can't even help ourselves and now we're helping others???
Now that everyone is ahead of Japan fans are wondering like idiots what happened when the answer are quite fucking obvious.

But now that I've taken a rest I have to say, they picked the worst timing to complain lol.

Yowamu and Thiefy on NFX
Muto and BRIAN on RC
Caedye , Absol, NOBITA etc are currently frying the scene.

I mean sure, the imports are still carrying, but it's not as bad as 3 years ago. And now, we are at a time where it's actually the imports who are a burden. This complain feels like coming from someone who doesn't watch the scene lol.

Should've complained when Something fried the scene and the fans are amazed like an idiot they are, they should've been pissed wayyyy before, not now when the talent are starting to show up lol.

That's what you get for trying supporting DEI programs disguised as valorant division thinking it's cool that your region is "diverse" unknowingly harming the scene's longevity
