Well only the top 2 teams go. SA was in 3,4,5, and 6. It's not like they're not good, but only the two best go. For pacific? I'd argue pacific pre franchising didn't have many good teams and the Korean ones improved the most. The other subregions are lagging behind which I would not say is a result of franchising because they're given slots, they just haven't done anything with them

except for LEV, it feels like 100T and NRG are being belittled when they have shown they can be a high mid table team (5th-6th), we don't know which team is good just based on a few games, we need to see a full split of teams facing each other before we can judge. But as of now, NA teams are WAY better than SA teams
its funny how its all in past tense tho. they have shown they can be higher but not actually in games. but thats all we have to base it off is a few games so the whole reasoning is hypocritical. if thats where they placed thats where they are as of right now. yes they can be better but they clearly have issues or theyd be higher. and there is issues with the brackets for sure, some have easier runs but youre always gonna get that.

Korea will only get 1 slot at internationals. Partnership allows KR teams to compete against SEA teams WITHOUT 60+ ping like 2021 LCQ.

2021 and 2022 format open circuit, 1 measly slot at internationals. If u can't dethrone VS/DRX, no other KR teams makes internationals (Nuturn/F4Q).
Asia gets limited slot cause JP, KR, SEA all separated due to ping (thats why partnership is good, all teams in 1 country).
China aside, East Asia means DRX + 1 JP team. THATS IT. KR and JP scene will die No Meiy/Art/Meteor/Munchkin etc
SEA 2 slot always gonna be PRX + Crws Thai team. PH/Indo/SA scene ALL will die. No Russia import, no PH, no GE.
watching leagues is easier and better than watching 50 different streams for 50 different challengers leagues. also that would mean that some teams in weak leagues would always qualify
better viewership
better job security for pros
pros make a higher salary
more big orgs which bring in more fans and viewership
its more organized and easier to watch

orgs have more incentive to invest at least in t1 so more sponsors + the team bundles
better storylines
it is easier to get data for all parts of valorant so improvement is easier
casting broadcast and timing of games is better
higher quality games

Maybe Data Analysis? franchising teams have official data tracking and counter setup thats the first thing i can imagine
