Is G2 that good or is Americas that bad (Same to be said for VIT and EMEA if they prove themselves today).
G2 s performance has been looking very clean and making them THE team to beat not having given up a map.

G2 is great
Vitality is amazing (in terms of fragging power)

I dont think G2 are best in the world when the teams theyre facing barely know how to play as a team. Its genuinely been horrible performances from all teams against G2.
Dont even try to say G2 makes teams look bad cause G2 did nothing to affect the most basic teamplay for those teams

Vitality has the highest skill ceiling itw, but I still believe G2 is better teamwork-wise atm

g2 are playing very clean valorant (imo) and they have shooters. though it is only a kickoff event so i imagine other teams will step up more in stage 1 as usual

G2 are super good; look at their matches and you'll see all players perform consistently. there's not a big discrepancy in kills and their teamwork is great

G2 are shooting hard and strategically their safe box is deep…
Vitality are doing the same but idk about how deep they strat book is so far it’s looked good but I’d back g2 more if they get tested

As sm1 said earlier it’s just kickoff, teams usually ramp up after the first masters event.

G2 are so good that they’re making every other Americas’ team look bad. It’s like throwing a top Champs seed into kickoff where everyone else has to integrate new players and adapt to the meta.

They were already the most coordinated team but now they’re all on form and have Jawgemo as their spearhead. Their read on the meta, with heavy Yoru, Tejo/Sova+Breach, Vyse, and Chamber usage is also super suffocating to play against. It’s some combination of disruptive utility chains and proactive re-clears that make them disgusting on defense — the harder half for most teams. Their attack side on the other hand, heavily prioritizes strong defaults with exhaustive mixups and unstoppable executes. Expect them to average 8 rounds on attack this meta.

I would say only VIT/TH and EDG could possibly match them for firepower but they’ve all looked far more shaky and inconsistent against weaker regional opponents. They undoubtably rely more on pure mechanics with numbers instead of utility abuse and map manipulation. The macro seems lacking compared to when you watch G2’s approach.

G2 is the first team I've supported since before their success
i knew this core had what it takes from challengers when they beat prime optic
now they have leaf and jawgemo
this is the most complete team in the history of the fucking game

bumea fan 😭
only riens out of the three is currently better than his g2 counterpart (and trent will be top 5 itw this year). g2 would only take those guys if they were forced to move to bumea and were restricted by import rules.
