Probably multiple reasons, some being his ego during his crazy year, the demon1 fans who don't ever shut up about him having a crazy year, and just genuine haters, he's definitely overhated but also deserves some of it for his arrogance.

He played a really solid series but I think he should play how yay this year or tenz last year was playing. He shouldn't play a first entry when he is not that comfortable on raze as the meta is now towards yoru. I think that Tex should take over the raze and yoru. And flex on Demon1. He can play Brim, Astra. We can't just forced him to play a agent he is not comfortable in it. ( he played a solid game )

Demon1 is the best players in the world right now and it's not even close. Not only he masters the art of the "Raze" but he also is a magician at creating space for his team on the Attacker side. Truely, america is blessed having a Russian elevating their scene game after game!
