some regions are more sensitive and passionate than others and people know that. When you know someone doesn't tolerate humor the same way then you simply don't. Tarik who is loved by Brazilians himself says that. Also Brazilians aren't the only ones sending death threats... Some female brazilian influencers have been getting them too from NA fans.
If you are cracking jokes at someone knowing that they won't tolerate it then it becomes instigation not banter. For example I don't make religious jokes the same way with my indian friends like I do with my American friends cz I know Indians are more sensitive about it and there's a high chance they might get offended of it.
I dont even think zombs is the main thing that brazilians are attacking EU/NA people.
I think this is disrespectful? Yes, but i'm mainly mad at people saying that brazilians destroyed the tournament, that we are mentaly unstable (gaslighting everything that we say), when we try to actually communicate most people just start making offensive jokes.
There are also those people that come with "GO BACK TO YOUR FAVELAS YOUR TRASH SHIT", but i know it is a vocal minority.
And if we communicate that we dont like those type of jokes, because we feel diminished by it, i get called "playing the victim card", which is gaslighting again.
I've never made a threat to anyone, but i get called all of those things.
This is the last time im explaining anything here.
Folks, we need to start a change, especially the Brazilian gamer community, from threatening and trying to make the other person on the other side feel “afraid” to punish something that was done and we don't like it. This in no way reflects our essence as a people.
As Brazilians, for the most part, we are a friendly and warm people.
We don't need to show a face that doesn't even reflect who we are to protect ourselves.
To defend ourselves we don't need to incite fear, violence or punish others for being wrong.
we are better than that
Everyone is talking about how zombs said something that hurt peoples feelings... while those same people first gave them death threats for something furia did. People still dont realize that the technical timeout was because furia did the C site jump without abilities and they said SEN did it for a free time out. Gotta say if people don't know the whole story don't jump to conclusions <3. Respect for all tbh except the ones who threaten :)
English tweet directed to Zombs
I made my mistakes using social media during the years and tried to grow from it so I will hope you realize one day that using the platform you are crafting with your work/game to spread things like this isn’t worth it. We have the chance to influence people positively.
