I swear this dude has gotten more and more passive every year. I could just be hating..

its so hard to watch, they're letting c9 take all the space. OP is always on passive angle
aspas is still one of the best players but he needs a team that adapt to his playstyle and mibr is not really working...
not hating. you right. I forgot the rnd no. but he kept holding flank with an OP for forever in a 2v2
true, 87% impact rounds and 1.67 rating which means every kill is being traded. He just plays smart. 5 FK btw.
By no means do I think hes a bad player, I still think hes one of the best player or best player in the world. IMO his oping is too good to be so passive most of the time and the rounds where he fought for the FK, they won towards the end. I just wish he'd mix up his play style more but who am I to complain when he gets results.
I personally think Aspas's style of play doesn't fit the current meta where teams want to fight aggressively for map control but Aspas wants to play passively holding sights
He plays extremely safe, and for a duelist? It's not really what you wanna see/do.
Aspas wants a team that doesn't depend on him as it should be, he will always be the best
