VCT Pacific Kickoff Bracket Changes

So I do not fully understand this changes of sweaping teams for matches 17&18 and 13&14. My main consern is how does this affect pickems?

swapping teams because depending on the loser, we might see a rematch in the early stage of the lower bracket. idk about the pickems
