New Season Rank Reset

Decided to play Valorant again for the placement games and this happened. I don't wanna grind back to diamond, I'm so unmotivated to play this game, it's actually crazy how much I don't want to play Valorant now and for the past 2 or 3 months. I hope that goes away because I love watching vct and I have spent way too much money on this game to just slowly stop playing.

When the gold rank thing popped up at the end of the placements it just drained all the life out of me, I expected to be placed lower than g3 honestly but I just don't want to grind this ass game anymore.

wtf did you expect? Every ranked reset youll be put 2 divisions down, have you played an episode of val before?
Every other diamond is also in gold my guy, it takes like a week to get back to your real rank because you get an insta double rank up if you do well in your first 3 games

Same. I was just 30rr away from reaching Immortal for the first time last act, but now I am placed in d2. Fucking took me two months to climb from Diamond to Ascendant 3, and now I'm back to where I started. So frustrating.
