Why was natank taken into lev?

I never really understood this decision tbh mazino did start playing when champs happened and maybe they still doubted if he would maintain that but why would they drop mazino to take natank, like he wasn't a particular stand out player in EMEA or even in GM8 , even his role wasnt particularly defined he played duelist at times and flash initiator at times and sova at times along with a sage as well, so why him? Couldn't they find a better flash initiator option like maybe brawk, he isn't proven but seems good

mazino didn’t get dropped, his contract expired and he was open for offers, lev actually wanted to keep him. also saying that he wasn’t a standout player from m8 is a crazy take

Mazino was asked to choose between Demon1 and D.va. He chose the later.

natank was a standout player in EMEA and was very consistent through the season, he played a supporting flex role

was probably wanted pretty heavy by quite a lot of teams
