Xi Lai Gaming is the newest addition to VCT China after winning Ascension, where they defeated Rare Atom in a dominant 3-0 in the grand final. Since then, they have parted ways with Savva "Kr1stal" Fedorov after their former in-game leader agreed in advance to depart the team due to non-resident player restrictions and added Yip "YOU" Man Ho to the team in his stead.
With this addition, XLG currently has six players. It has not been explicitly stated at this time whether ZiXuan will be replacing one of the other players on the active roster. All five of the other players are currently still listed as active in the Global Contract Database.
