I remember Neilzinho was saying during offseason that they were SUPER careful to not get sick during events last year. They’d send their manager to eat at places multiple times(or something along these lines, I forget exactly) before the team was allowed to eat there to make sure the food wouldn’t make them sick.

CLARIFICATION BY NEIL ON REDDIT :

Niklas is the GOAT but he didn’t test food for us. We are usually completely fine with illness but this time 3/5 of our roster were sick and I made the decision to forfeit based on the risk/reward for my team.

We take a lot of precautions to stay healthy at events and this is the first time it’s happened to this extent.

I care for the guys a lot and I would never put the game over their mental or physical health and wellbeing.

Also wasn’t ready to run it back 10 years with Weber and hop back on the server together, wouldn’t wanna farm everyone at 33 years old it’s just not fair.
