why do player use their main acc for trial?

When player are trialing with other team it usually got leak due to one of the people in their friend list screenshot it and send it to journalist. I know journalist not only get their source from these screenshots, but why the player use their alt account or the team itself ask them to use another account? I feel like it will decrease the chance of leak or unwanted rumours getting out. Especially the player are not 100% gonna sign with that team anyway.

Idk if this counts but I heard that T1 players can't use smurf accounts. Need someone to confirm tho.

Hype creation and rumour spilling , plus it brings attention to the players themselves and if they are talking with a team for playing for them and they gave a trial for another team and the news comes out, the player can use that to demand. A better contract cause the org could be afraid the player may get poached
