offseason is tough

Honestly tired of this off-season. Is always having to wait like five months without seeing any franchised team compete seriously. While we have smaller events like Ludwig x Tarik, they don't compare to an international event with a trophy on the line + they're just invited teams. Meanwhile, you see CS players barely get any rest during their off-seasons, and they seem to thrive on the competition. Valorant has been out for like four years, raking in profits from events, skins, and more, yet they still can't sustain one more international tournament to fill the remaining five months. It's just disappointing that as fans, we can’t enjoy watching our favorite VCT teams in competitive LAN events for FIVE DAMN MONTHS. What's going on? Can someone explain why the offseason has to be this long before we get to see our teams again? Is there any chance this will change soon?

this is changing soon. they will be shortening the off season in 2025 with champions ending in september or october if im not mistaken
