i completely disagree with your second point. people can agree that for example jonhqt is a really good sentinel. however, his acs with cypher in the past 60 days says that he as an average acs of 163 (which most people would consider kinda bad)

Acs is way worse than rating

Acs is the most biased stat towards duelists. Using it in any other context apart from duelist to duelist is completely braindead. Even then it isn’t perfect and is inflated towards players who overheat and don’t stay alive

ehh i disagree, t3xture had his insane moments but so did meteor, he’s the main reason they won against FPX and had insane performances vs 100T, G2 and TH as well. I’m not discrediting t3xture because he did play very good and comparable to meteor but many people still overlook him lol

yeah that’s reasonable, meteor went -11 in their decider game while t3xture (+11) and munchkin were the only ones that weren’t negative. he went +28 vs TH tho but it’s unfortunate he and his team choked lotus hard vs TH

You can’t compare a flex to a duelist in acs, the duelist should win 99% of the time, it also becomes a shit stat if you’re comparing within roles which aren’t duelist. Tex is probably an insanely high acs sentinel (I’m guessing tbh) because he takes way more opening duels than other sentinels, which isn’t exactly a great thing, but it will always be reflected as a good thing in acs.

Both these stats have a purpose, but I think rating in general is a little bit better. But between two primary duelists and entry players I’d choose acs
