Double elim playoffs in Valo means you will get to see a lot more NA vs EMEA vs Strikers games, which wouldn't happen if there was single elim

Single elim makes every game much more important and exciting. Literally every sport uses single elim in playoffs. There's a reason it's also called a knockout stage.
