so mistic, scream, tomaszy are all above average in emea league???
you are absolutely wrong. i doubt you know this game as well as i do if you believe what you just said.
i mean scream isnt even a pro anymore, tomaszy puts up .8 rating in stage 2 and mistic had terrible statistics too. how can you possibly find these to be above average tier 1 pros.
yes scream and tomaszy are good players are you insane? KC as a whole were looking shit, marteen barely had a rating over 1, besides he had a 1.10 rating in stage 1(top 7), while having very high impact in all of their games besides FUT. Scream isnt pro anymore but it's laughable you think he couldn't as though he hadn't been a consistent player for years up until his break. If we're talking "bad statistics players", then where are derrek, c0m, zellsis, marved, and boostio? Or are we going to view players only by their entire seasons when it is EMEA but not NA. Be real
Derrek's stats were inflated in stage 2 off playing Mibr and Furia, in stage 1 in which he had a similar set of games to TL he was significantly worse, however I will agree that he is definitely better than a lot of emea players (as one of the only actual dedicated initiators as well)
Zellsis' most recent rating was .98 and has never reached tomaszy's peak rating the entire year
I don't think rating is a good metric to judge players because it's entirely dependent on whether or not you as a player have less deaths. That's why players like grubhino will have an incredible rating but realistically have barely any impact on the server.
Neverless, mistic is definitely the worst player in the tourney that is not an IGL, however I fail to see how it is "unfair" to EMEA. There aren't going to be perfect groups, but Rolly Winners is incredibly stacked as a team considering they have 3 heretics players, ardiis and tomaszy.
also scream was top 4 in rating at LCQ and had a .99 rating on the worst team in the league during the regular split before he left lmao
it seems you misunderstood. i dont think its unfair, better eu players were asked to play, and didnt accept.
i just think its obvious which side is better represented, and that it was obvious na would outperform eu.
i only made this post because people were spamming the site (at least when i first opened it) with eu laugh threads despite the result being insanely obvious, and not really a true eu vs na match (unlike the upper final which is made of 2 good teams). i wasnt even watching that last match as it was so obvious. only the upper final (1 map) and i will watch the games tmrw, hopefully it will be eu vs na in the final so its more hype.
this post was only to point that out. im honestly surprised people even watched that lower round 1
