ZETA DIVISION ZETA DIVISION Japan Rank #2 Dep Yuma Hashimoto SugarZ3ro Shota Watanabe CLZ Hikaru Mizutani SyouTa Shota Aoki Xdll Yuto Mizomori has announced the additions of Yuma "Dep" Hashimoto, SugarZ3ro , and Tenta "TENNN" Asai to the roster. In addition, the team also announced the departure of team captain Oshiro "Reita" Ryu as a transfer to REJECT REJECT Japan Rank #12 JaXe BNN take IceBear while moving Takebayashi "barce" Ryo to ZETA's streamer division and putting Miyamoto "makiba" Akatsuki as inactive.

Welcome to ZETA DIVISION.

After ZETA's disappointing finish at Masters Berlin, the team was slated to participate in the APAC Last Chance Qualifier based on their circuit points standings. However, the team opted to forfeit from the event, giving way for NORTHEPTION and FENNEL to participate.

Dep, a longstanding member of REJECT, has been with the team since its inception back in 2020. He became inactive in August 2021, with news of his future uncertain as he missed the LCQ. SugarZ3ro and Ten, two core members of the previous NORTHEPTION squad made headlines as they were one map away from participating in Champions, having surpassed expectations of the team and region in the LCQ.

barce and Reita were one of the original members of ZETA DIVISION, then called Absolute JUPITER Absolute JUPITER Inactive makiba Miyamoto Akatsuki Laz Ushida Koji crow Maruoka Tomoaki barce Takebayashi Ryo takej Takemori Shogo Reita Oshiro Ryu , having contributed to the team's early success as one of Japan's dominant teams. Makiba was brought in as Stage 3 started, having played in teams such as Nester and CNCI Blue Bees before. With the team, makiba helped them towards a Masters berth, before failing to move past the group stage, finishing 13th-16th.

Holy god, these are some stunning pick ups by ZETA. These guys are literally the upper echelon of Japanese Valorant. Really excited to see what they can do next year.

But sad for NORTHEPTION being gutted like that. From APAC LCQ finalists who almost made champions to only 1 player. All they have is Meiy on the team.

I would agree, makiba probably needs more experience but he'll be streaming for next year to focus on his schooling so I hope he'll come back stronger and ready to grind next year
