what are the buyouts in most of T2, and why are such young players not setting lower buyouts for themselves???

I feel like if youre 18 signing in t2 you should be negotiating a max 50k buyout for yourself before you even start talking wages, that is if you believe in yourself ofc

Let me think for a sec, should I play for unknown team with 0 safety net or reliable income stream, or bite the bullet and sign the contract for a stable income?

I just think the business model rn for talent is incorrect

obv t2 teams need to profit off of talent, but there should be different ways so that theyre actually able to make it to tier 1, if thats performance based incentives, like if a player qualifies for masters then the team that they were bought from gets more money or something etc etc

RN the tier 1 teams are taking too huge of a risk buying kids

Actually if we implement a performance based incentive that would actually inflate their price to a higher degree no?

A performance based incentive gives additional income for every success that you make but the opposite doesn't apply.

This is one of the reason why most teams opt for academy teams, so you can develop players preparing them for pro play.

Ultimately, to lower the buyout clause you have to negotiate with the org, or, you wait till the contract ends and you sign the player when he's lft.

Idk tho, I dont run an org 😂

exactly. people will obviously watch tons of talents in emea t2 rather than the recycled players in emea t1

There's probably not much choice in tier 2, if you want to play for an actual org and get paid they will probably set a higher buyout. Apeks is a great example of the fact that tier 2 orgs don't have to develop talent, they can just sign rejects
