I think you as the author of a thread should be able to lock it, the same way mods(?) do it.
Also the ability to delete a comment(a comment that you did)/post would be nice

Edit: after a lot of thinking, I don't think this is a good idea. Please ignore this

Not really, I still think the thread lock thing is good for certain scenario but disrupts discussion if available to everyone and as for the second one, well maybe I should have worded it differently.
