is asuna holding back cryo? i mean we have seen zekken shine on the duelist spot even when tenz was headlining zekken was there because of his duelist presence(splash brothers). i mean cryo is forced to fill for asuna because asuna wants to play raze, if cryo actually learned raze and plays raze often; everybody would actually talk about how good of a duelist he is. I mean cryo isn't a duelist, a controller, a senti; hes not even a flex. nobody can put him in any list because he doesn't fit any list. free my boy cryo man

“If Cryo learned raze” he tried and it didn’t work out and he’s not really an entry duelist. He works similar to tenz yay and demon1, asunas selflessness helps him succeed most of the time in fact

oo do u have links to games where he tried to play raze didnt see that, but if thats the case he should stick to fulltime controller or senti, or even flex and learn other agents; he just gets no recognition tbh man

he played it all 3 games at Lock-in 2023 and didn't do great but still not awful. I haven't watched any of these games in almost 2 years so idk how he actually performed but I don't remember ever seeing him look comfortable on it (which is kinda fair since he only played 5 games ever on it)

Maybe he'll put more time in this offseason, just seems a little silly to have him put that much time into it if he's gonna continue to be on a team with Asuna. As of now I think he's fine, he plays the Demon1 roles of flexing to smokes when he needs to, which seems to work fine for him.

Has potential but for now idk Asuna is still better at raze

We're just gonna get another y0y situation with a chamber meta duelist going entry duelist type shit

or we jus have to stop thinking that everyone is yay or that everyone is born to always play 1 role and can never transition or improve. they are PRO players im sure he can improve and actually become a good raze player

he can still be a super star matter of fact he already is letting your best aimer play how they want to play always leads to success cryo plays his best in clutches/lurks where he gets to dictate when he wants to take a fight or leave a fight if u are on raze or hard entry you can't do that if dont take space or go into the bombsite you lose

for how good he did in shanghai even though he was ass in the final end, no one talks about it. hes getting overshadowed man

maybe he doesn’t want to play raze? you have to realize that he gets very good value out of the way he plays

honestly from a playstyle perspective I wouldn't mind this cryo plays better in clutch/lurks and letting him fully play that role of senti/controller will help him improve his lurks and clutch% that being said it isn't worth it 100t are good only need minor improvements and meta adaptation to do good
