Here is my braindead take!
Demon1 isn’t as good as his champs form, I thinks champs was a life tournament for him low key, his average form is more like his Tokyo/ Americas form
Demon1 is absolutely an incredible aimer, but I don’t think he’s the best player itw even if he regains form, don’t expect champs demon1 ever again

I mean it's not the craziest thing, but I think the biggest part is that he'll never get a team that can set him up as good as that EG team did.

I mean he basically had optic to set him up. If those guys aren't enough, no one is. EG was over a year ago. Give it up.

Except he didn't have an IGL and was thrown in as the main duelist for some stupid ass reason which isn't how it was on EG.

I mean he was basically Jett for most of the year part from a few maps, they prolly just assumed he was an entry style player
Still braindead bro not put victor on raze
Don’t forget that demon1 essentially didnt play Val at all from champs 2023 to kickoff and his gf had health problems

2024 NRG was not Optic bro and EG was better than Optic so

3 optic members and a former teammate to set him up. OpTic' system was much better than EG. They were the most consistent OAT

They didn't have FNS or Optic's system, just because you have 3 of the players, doesn't mean you have Optic. They had a first time IGL who was clearly not fit for the IGL role and Ethan himself admitted that, you can pretend like we slotted Demon1 into prime optic and he took the entire thing down. I love the Optic boys, but they weren't as good as they used to be and you need to accept that

That’s actually debatable if we are talking about chamber meta optic, since optic played and beat prime 2022 loud, who are arguably better (not more accomplished) than any team EG played especially since EG lost to fnatic twice
But since pro scene gets better over time sure EG is probably better

If nrg drop him, it’s likely because he is too expensive and they feel like they can get a different player who can play raze and Jett entry,but they should prolly move him to sentinel or smokes instead of dropping

EG won because they showed what true friendship and chemistry was like which was the complete opposite of NRG 2024, and as such he became so much more confident in champs 2023

If he even goes back to a slightly better form (americas/tokyo) being super impactful and all that, then that is enough for me. You can’t maintain your peak form for so long so your take isn’t as hot as you think. I think he’s still a great player though
