I think the 2 map ban advantage for grand finals is a bit underwhelming, so what if we also had 2 map picks, such that the team who won the upper finals would get to ban 2 maps and also pick the first 2 maps of the series essentially having a chance to be up 2 maps as a reward

Honestly agreed. It’s getting to the point where most teams have a good enough map pool either way to not be at a disadvantage from 2 map bans. 2 map picks seems valid enough imo

i think this is underwhelming as well, lets give the winner of the upper bracket, 2 map advantage, the game starts 2-0 in the favour of the team who won the upper finals

So you want it to go from "we're gonna ban our worst map and your best map" to "you have to 3-0 us to win"?
