sure but its more about the package deal to me like the vibes the calls and the aim, johnqt's been inconsistent as of late but even without the aim sen's vibes are amazing and the strats are pretty damn good

valyn and boostio for sure are in the argument, but there is a reason johnqt was the igl on m80 and not zander, stellar is good too but i dont see a world where johnqt doesnt just diff him in every margin possible. I can't speak on poised and mitch too much since i havent seen them play enough but there is a reason johnqt was a hot prospect and they werent

Yeah the reason is nepotism

Poised outperformed johnqt all year in 2023 but Kaplan picked up his ex teammate without considering anyone else

just looking back on faze's performance are you sure? if poised was igl I think going for john over poised makes sense given m80 vs fazes track record that year

Well m80 was 2nd best na team and faze was 5th

Johnqt had koalanoob, nismo, Zander, eeiu and a great coach

Poised had babybay and supamen which is nice. But also tigg and mummay which doesn’t compare to eeiu and nismo

and eg won champs? like those players were incredibly mid until potter and boostio went god mode and they just shit on everyone, like if poised was truly good at igling im sure they could have done better than a 5th place in tier two, m80 was only second because of the final series fumble, john would consistently unlock his teammates potential as a igl and they were considered above t1 teams at the time i just dont think its fair to discredit john's abilities here
