I'll give it a try, but if you didn't you should watch Heat (1995) with Pacino and De Niro. This movie is basically cemented as one of the best action crime movies ever.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Den of Thieves is a pure copy of Heat in terms of storyline and even characters.

I've already read about it, that's why I recommended you to watch Heat. Because the movie you're talking about is basically just a remake of Heat.

I wasn't hating on the movie you're talking about at any point, neither I said it is bad. As a matter of fact, I really believe you that it's good. Im just saying that it is a remake of another movie.

I didn't read anyones opinion about it tho, I just read the plot of it as most people do, right? Like before you decide to watch any movie you're just interested what is it about no? So I just realised that the plot is completely the same as Heat. You wouldn't consider that as a remake?
