As of September 2024, and approaching the beginning of Offseason, I will try to make a ranking of the teams in each franchised region as objective as possible when VCT 2025 begins. I decided to do this considering that VLR's way of ranking is quite unreliable, inaccurate and poorly updated.

How do you plan on doing the balancing between the teams (ie your Loud and Furia example)?

cool system i tried to something like this retroactively for this year in this post although i used much lower numbers and the weightings are different

Winning masters should give less points OR giving Champions should give more. I don't think a difference of 200 points between those 2 is accurate given how much more important it is to win Champions over Masters.

Maybe make masters only give like 700 or Champs 1100

I'm a big fan of systems that are intended to weigh things objectively in sports in general, so naturally I really like the idea for VCT. I think the numbers you have in mind appear to make a lot of sense on paper.

Only slight change I'd personally make is probably upping Champs a bit. I view the event as about 1.5x as important as a Masters, and then numbers you have are roughly more like 1.2-1.25x. In my experience, it almost seems like the average viewer has Champs as closer to 2x a Masters event, which feels way too high for me. The ratio you've got is very reasonable, but a bit on the low side for me personally. Just depends what you think about comparing the 2 events. Everything else looks fantastic and pretty fairly divided up!
