how do you all manage it? Or are all you freaks on drugs
I've never even taken any drugs cause I live in a shithole country and haven't got a formal diagnosis, but I'm 100% sure I have multiple flavors of mental illness (spent 2hrs 30 mins pacing back and forth in my room today, got a bit too excited).
Generally its whatever if I have nothing doing but on deadlines it becomes a fucking problem
damn sorry to hear about your country.
make sure you see a specialist at some point though, I had a friend who thought he had something, but it turned out he just had a severe deficiency, and any meds would've harmed him.
yeah deadlines suck, I can't get motivated to do crap until it's last minute. It got so bad at one point I started missing exams hoping they could give me resits so I could have like an extra week to cram.
do you have things to fidget with? i learned how to twirl a pen around my fingers n it keeps my hands busy during class/doing homework lol
i mostly struggle with the more attention-deficit side of adhd but theres probably tons of coping skills online tht can help with hyperactivity since thats what it sounds like, but obviously i cant know for sure since i dont know you haha
ahh that actually does sound really difficult to manage without meds, im sorry :( the best advice i can give is maybe take time out of ur day to maybe exercise and get the energy out of ur system? but since it sounds pretty spontaneous i'm not sure how much help that'll be. best u can do is do some research on coping skills like i said or hope you can get a psychiatrist to help you out, gl man
I don't do meds, I honestly just take advantage of the hyper focus and try to aim it at productive stuff. RN it's SEO and web design, in the past it was SQL.
it can even work with Valorant if you'd like to improve, I've used it to play DM for hours on end and to watch tons of vods and analysis videos. Really just let it rip on whatever activity you're into until you find something you like, makes you a better person or makes you money (then drop it after 2 months and find a new one) 👍
