valorant ping advice?

i get around 1gbps download speed using ethernet - very stable and live close to the server i play yet get 40-50 ping? how does this shit work.. i used to 15-20 now its 40+

any advice

no clue man, one day all my servers went to shit but frankfurt stayed normal, i go on a trip for a week, come back and now my frankfurt ping is 40+ while it used to be 18

Speed don’t matter at all, distance to server is more important
