I want to translate a clip from Saadhack, talking about rookie Aspas.
https://youtu.be/gFzm45chOok?si=lkEWBgSaR3gZTPtg

  • Saadhack: Man i just remenber Aspas (laughs). The son of bitch of Aspas, when we was starting training, that we (Talking about him and Sacy) pointed his mistakes, like. "Open the map, dont open alone, whatever", know what was his response? His response was, "But bruh, i missed the shoots there to kill him". This was the response to everthing.
"No Aspas but, like, if you open with a teamate, even if you miss or hit, the chances of winning the trade is higher".
"(Aspas) Nah but i missed, next time i gonna not miss, you gonna see Mathias, i gonna hit the face".
Huh, and the worst, he thinks (correct himself) thinked that, because this motherfucker is very good, and he knows that if he opens, he gonna wins the trade, but sometimes he doesnt win, and he says "bruhhh i missed".

I wanted to translate that, Primmie is like rookie Aspas, both was too naive with a too simple thinking.
The kid has potential, but bc of some bs that Kyedae sayed, the kid is getting too many pression.
He needs time and someone like Sacy and Saadhack was for Aspas.

Lets stop the Primmie hate and comparission, Aspas from the start had the support of all Brazilian community and freedom, lets give the kid respect and freedom to be worst or best, he doesnt need to be best than anyone, let him.

I have huge respect for Saadhak and Boaster for developing these talents into smarter players on top of their mechanics

Its a good thing, idk about Emea cenario, but Brazil cenario T2 = Trash, its rare to see a T2 kid get visibility bc of (Idk what term to use, ik that this is not the right one, but i tink you get the idea) """"""nepotism""""".

i think this happens in a bunch of regions, lots of talent goes unnoticed because of ''proven'' players (washed players) taking up all the spots in teams

Yeah, just bc they are friends, and bc of riot shitting on t2.
Rarely you gonna see a T2 team becoming a T1, MOST RARELY A T3 ๐Ÿ’€.

This kills Valorant in some parts.

agreed bro, hopefully orgs transition from this type of roster building and offer more chances to unproven talent, but its really hard considering the format where u play a tiny amount of games and theres nothing u can really do to develop players

The catalyst to a great player will always be the team environment

Learn wirh others.

"A wise man learns from his mistakes, but a wiser man learn from others mistakes".

If someone teach Primmie discipline and mental, he is going to be insane, IF NOT, the best in his role.

What I'm gathering from this is that all goated players are selfish players who crutched on their aim but later converted to playing more selflessly

Is there any examples of a player who crutched on gamesense and teamplay becoming one of the greats by learning to be more individualistic and improving their aim?

Aspas was not selfish trought, he had just a simple fps thinking. "I rush i kill, if i die, i missed, so next time i will not miss".

But, from my understanding, i can say Tenz or Less.
Less bc in the start of loud, he had too much fear of being a failure, so he played allways back, than he worked his confidence and sayed. "Man fuck it, i can kill everyone".
