All these storylines are pretty interesting ngl.

EDG - Looked terrible during intls then a roster change that revived them and got their best placement yet.

SEN - Very good during off-season and carried the form until Madrid where they won. Instantly fell off and everyone thought they were losing to FPX.

LEV - Formed as a superteam but looked mediocre. Threw at Shanghai and them seemingly woke up from disbandment. c0m, tex getting massive hate decided to prove them wrong. 2nd Champs win for aspas and c0m.

TH - Came into Shanghai with a "sub" (played Madrid with him) and peaked at 2nd. Looked marginally worse at Stage 2 and everyone said go back to Shanghai team. They said fuck that and decided to show up again.

1 year in tier 2 and one game in LCQ xd, he is probably the Rockies player this year who has risen to tier 1 in the least amount of time

EDG taking the revenge of geng winning on their home soils by winning an even bigger tournament at geng's home soil

Did EDG lose to GEN.G in Shanghai? I don't remember.

why does this matter

Because it's not really revenge if they didn't play against eachother

well if you read it again i said geng(a korean team) won the tournament in shanghai so edg can return the favour by winning it in korea

It's not really like that though. EDG don't care that GEN.G won in Shanghai. GEN.G won't care that EDG win in Seoul. It's you guys pushing this narrative that EDG are so hurt from it.

I'm not pushing any narrative and I couldn't care less about edg winning I'm only adding a new perspective to your list of story lines

It doesmt have to do anything with edg... It takes 2 minutes to figure out why this is such a heated thing

Then why isn't it CN vs KOREA and not EDG vs GEN.G

#22

Because champs is in korea, geng is a korean team and EDG is the only chinese team left in the tourney?

Its not "CN vs KOREA", its about a chinese team (EDG) taking revenge of a korean team (GEN.G) winning in CHINA (Masters Shanghai) by beating them and winning on GEN.G own soil (Champions Seoul)

You get it now?

I mean, imagine the coaches would be like ''yeah these silver players know what they are talking about, we will throw away this roster we´ve made for the long term and just kick the player we built the team around'' lmaoooo

coaches just got a new contract this year, benjy too, i honestly would never change anything until next season is over, you can see that this team is still making so many mistakes, why change the roster without fixing the mistakes? the team has insane potential, changing woot to duelist and mini to flex/ini will always be an option, mini has a good agentpool and work ethic, but we also saw that wo0t needs a different mentality for the star duelist player, we saw it in the grand finale, when it mattered the most
